Is Jesus God?

Who is Jesus?

This is what the Bible teaches about Jesus. Jesus is the result of the decision of God the creator, who dwells outside of time and creation, to participate directly with his creation by becoming a human.

This is quite a statement. Jesus is God "clothed" with human flesh. God's purpose in becoming a man was to rescue humanity from the chaos and wreckage caused by man's decision to independence.

God's Entrance into Creation

In doing this, God did in no way lessen Himself, or stop being God. His entrance into creation were vital steps needed to realize his ultimate goal... first begun in the garden of Eden...that God and man would live together for eternity.

Jesus, the GOD-MAN

This act of taking upon himself human flesh brought upon the earth the ultimate entity - the GOD-MAN. GOD himself entering in his creation and executed a plan of action that would reveal the very essence of who He is as a moral being...and to bring to an end the separation between heaven and earth.

Jesus’ Mission

Every human that has every existed had failed in living a truly moral life...one that hadn't missed the mark. In Jesus, GOD became MAN to fulfill for humans their side of a permanent covenant. Being a man, born of a woman, and limited to human weakness, with all the limits of humans…a new covenant with GOD could be made that would bring us back together.

So Who Is He?

GOD and MAN in one being. He ultimately offered his God-Man life as a substitute for ours on the cross. There he suffered the judgment of GOD for the sins of all humanity. This was accomplished on behalf of every human being.

We have been forgiven through this incredible sacrifice of Jesus. He wants you to know He loves you, and did that for you. It's a gift. For you.

You need only know this, believe this, and give your heart to Him...entrust yourself to him.
